COVID SAFETY PROTOCOLS
While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: my commitment to your safety and health. By its very nature, massage requires skin-to-skin contact and you should be familiar with the fact that infection control has always been a top priority for my practice. As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to the coronavirus, please help me to support all of my clients by cooperating with some new requirements. My practice follows Practice Guidelines recommended by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB), along with infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
All protocols are subject to change due to evolving governmental mandates but are the most up-to-date according to current regulations. Please review all protocols so you know what to expect for your next appointment. I know it may seem overwhelming but these are necessary to protect my clients and myself. I sincerely look forward to continuing my quality care for all clients and commit to keeping you safe, relaxed, and comfortable during your session.
Thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding.

-
36-hours before your session you will receive an email reminder with my MANDATORY HEALTH SCREENING QUESTIONNAIRE. You must respond to this email with confirmation of receipt and your questionnaire answers. Failure to confirm and pass the questionnaire may cancel or reschedule your appointment unless you contact me. Please read all questions carefully and answer to the best of your abilities.
-
It is highly recommended that clientele have a written medical referral for massage therapy. This can be from your general practitioner, chiropractor, etc. Any questions please contact me.

-
If you travel by plane within 24 hours of your appointment, you may be required to wear a mask during your entire session.

If you are exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID you must wait at least 5 days from exposure if vaccinated or 7 days if unvaccinated and be without any symptoms before you can come in.

If you or anyone in your household is sick the day of your session please notify me immediately and I will determine whether we can proceed or need to reschedule.

Clients are recommended to wash their hands with soap and water before and after their session. Hand sanitizer will be available at all times but hand washing is recommended upon first entering and before leaving.

Weather permitting and if available, an outdoor setup in the shade is highly preferred. If you'd like, you can send me pics of your home/backyard beforehand to find the best setup.
-
If an outdoor space isn't feasible or weather doesn't permit, please make sure your massage/exercise room is well ventilated with windows/doors open and an air purifier if available.

-
Please limit interactions with household members during your session. I understand this may not be achievable in some homes (especially with kids and pets!) but is highly preferred when possible.
